Forging

A large fire, iron rods, a bellow, hammer and anvil. This is what the smith needs to do his job. In the old-fashioned forge, the fire burns fiercely. The smith lays the iron on the hottest spot in the fire, until it glows red-hot. Then he removes it from the fire and starts to hammer it. What a noise! Slowly but surely, you see something taking shape. As soon as the iron has cooled down, it returns to the fire. You can only forge iron when its hot! Come take a look in the forge and enjoy this old craft.
